Sitting in the recliner, Boy on lap, watching the preview for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe:
"Oooh! The Chronicles of Narnia! Do you want to go see that?"
"No, I've already seen The Lord of the Rings."
"No, this is a different movie."
"No, it's not."
"Yes, it is. See? It has a lion! And look! A witch!"
"That's not a witch. It's an elf. And lions aren't supposed to be in wars. They are just big cats. They should have some orcs. Orcs are better for wars."
I guess the moral of the story is that New Zealand should only be used as a set once every ten years . . .
